Dear all
Those who wish to relive their IRONMAN UK race memories can do so with the official Channel 4 TV broadcast which is being shown on Sunday 5th September at 8.00am. This is a change to the original supplied date by Channel 4 of next weekend!!!
The show will once again highlight the pro race which saw Fraser Cartmell become multiple time champion and Yvette Grice win the female race. DVD of the show will be on sale with TRI UK within the next few weeks and you will be emailed when they are available.
Due to this late schedule change with channel 4 we strongly advise you to check the TV listings for channel 4 to double check this date and time and to also see details of any forthcoming late night repeats!.
We hope you enjoy the show and the memories are great ones.

Dear Athlete
Since sending the recent email regarding a lost Snugg wetsuit, the office has had a couple of similar emails from other competitors who have also misplaced equipment during IRONMAN UK.
We are asking if anyone has mistakenly picked up the wrong items or has found something that does not belong to them to get in touch with the Race Office to see if we can reunite said items with their owners.
I know that some of you may not even have gone through your kit yet, since finishing as you literally never want to see your bike/trainers etc again! But if everyone can just have a look it would be greatly appreciated by those who have lost certain items. They may actually want to continue training with them!?

Dear Athletes,
We have a competitor who has lost his Snugg wetsuit at the recent IRONMAN UK on 1st August.
We are asking if any competitor may have picked it up by mistake.
He has described it as a Snugg make wetsuit with a red lining and he thinks the size was Large. His name and phone number are written inside but this number does not work anymore.
If anyone has any information on this wetsuit could you please email the Race Office and let us know as the athlete would be very grateful to have it returned to him. |
