Run Course - Overview
The run at Wimbleball Lake is a three loop course on a mix of terrain including tarmac, hard pack trail and grass. The course remains firm underfoot even during prolonged bad weather. There is one short sharp climb in the course which is tackled three times. This is followed by a steep descent.
The course is designed and marked during race week. The course uses barriers, inflatables and cones in some places to mark the route. These are not deployed prior to the race. See below for a more detailed description if you plan to give the course should you wish to attempt it in training.
The cut off time for the run is 8 hours 30 minutes after the start of your race
